Dallas-based ‘non-airline’ marks first anniversary by flying 13,000th member

RISE set out to improve and return respect to the travel business by offering scheduled service between highly traveled city pairs on time, every time, for a flat-rate monthly fee. The company officially took to the skies in July 2015 and has hit the milestone of its 13,000th member served. RISE, which operates 60 flights a week to airports in Dallas, Austin and Houston, estimates it has saved those fliers over 30,000 hours with its efficient model at a cost significantly lower than flying private. It plans to launch scheduled service to additional cities in Texas and beyond within the next 12 months.
